In Loving Memory of Baron Liam (Glenn McCartney)

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Baron Liam MacIan of the Bloody Foreland, known to many of us as Glenn McCartney. Glenn was more than a member of the SCA, he was a true believer in the power of imagination, community, and creativity. From the very beginning, he was excited to help bring Ridge-Con to life and looked forward to partnering with us to share the magic of the SCA with Ridgecrest.

All of us at Ridge-Con and Friends of the Fair are heartbroken by this news. Glenn's encouragement and energy helped shape our event, and his spirit will always be a part of what we do. His passion for history, storytelling, and bringing people together inspired everyone around him.

We stand with the Barony of Naevehjem and the entire SCA family during this time of grief. Our thoughts are with Her Excellency Anastasiia.
