Free summer lunches at Ridgecrest Branch Library are back starting Tuesday 06/02 for children/youth 2-18.

Next week starts another summer of Lunch at the Library, provided by Sierra Sands Unified School District Lunches are served from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm on Tuesdays through Fridays. Free for all 2-18 years old and adult lunches are only $5 (exact change please). We also have visitors, activities, and Books to Build Home Libraries.

We’re rolling with a fresh set of tires! 🚗 Thanks to Tires and their for Purpose program, our Oasis Family Resource Center is all set to keep moving safely and efficiently. This donation will help us use the vehicle to transport clients safely to and from our center, ensuring continued access to our essential services and support programs.

This Wednesday - The Salvation Army is offering TEFAP “Commodities” Food - The last Wednesday of each month, 9-11 a.m.
You may only get 1 TEFAP box a month in Kern County in a calendar month. If you have already received a government food box in the same calendar month, you will be denied until the following month. Have your “sally (food) card” for faster service. You must self-declare your name, date of birth, county of residence, zip code, and household size to sign up.
