Huge shout out to Donnie and Angela Tennyson for your support, determination for this event!!! Ridge Hardware
ONE LAST RIDGE, WHITE & BLUE POST… FOR THIS YEAR. 🇺🇸
Now that we’ve had a few days to recover, clean up, return porta potties (see my last post), and get things somewhat back to normal, we have one last thing to say about Ridge, White & Blue.
When we started planning this event, we knew our goal: bring the community together for a fun night celebrating America’s 250th while raising money for Ridge Elementary School and St. Michael’s School.
What we didn’t know was just how much this community would get behind it.
Between community donations, the dunk tank, the 50/50 raffle, concessions, our sponsors, and everything else that came together throughout the night, we are absolutely amazed by what Ridge, White & Blue was able to do for both of our local schools. ❤️🤍💙
We’re going to keep the dollar amounts between us and the schools, but we can confidently say that this community made Ridge, White & Blue one heck of a successful fundraiser.
And there are a LOT of people to thank for that.
First, a HUGE thank you to American Legion Post 255, especially their Commander. They helped us organize, plan, host, and pull off this whole crazy idea Donnie came up with. There were a million moving pieces behind the scenes, and this event simply would not have happened the way it did without them.
To every business, organization, and individual who sponsored, donated, volunteered, loaned us something, or answered one of our last-minute “Hey… any chance you have a _____?” requests — THANK YOU. 😂❤️

~Sorry if I forgot you or couldn’t tag your page, I did this from memory which isn’t always great~
And some extra appreciation goes to our dunk tank participants. 💦😂 You voluntarily sat above a tank of water while your friends, family, coworkers, students, customers, and probably a few people who had been waiting YEARS for the opportunity happily paid to dunk you.
That’s dedication to the community right there. 😂
And finally, thank you to everyone who SHOWED UP.
You decorated the mowers. You brought your chairs. You wore your red, white & blue. You raced. You cheered. You bought raffle tickets. You donated. You dunked people. You ate. You stayed for the fireworks.
You PARTICIPATED.
We said over and over before the event that Ridge, White & Blue would only be successful if the community actually came out and got involved.
Well… Ridge understood the assignment. 🇺🇸
Which brings us to one little issue…
This was supposed to be a special event for America’s 250th.
A one-time thing.
And anytime someone asked us, “Are you doing this again next year?” we were VERY careful with our answer. 😂
“No.”
“Definitely not.”
“NO!”
Well, apparently y’all have decided for us.
The turnout, the feedback, and the amount of people who have already asked about next year have officially convinced us…
FINE. WE’LL DO IT AGAIN. 😂🇺🇸
🎆 RIDGE, WHITE & BLUE WILL RETURN IN 2027! 🎆
Do we know what we’re doing yet?
Nope. Something similar to this year though.
So stay tuned.
For now, from Ridge Hardware, American Legion Post 255, and everyone who helped make this crazy idea happen — THANK YOU, RIDGE.
❤️🤍💙 We’ll see y’all at Ridge, White & Blue 2027. ❤️🤍💙
PS. If you loaned us something the odds are we have it here at Ridge Hardware but I’ve probably “misplaced” your number, stop in and see us to pick your things up, and THANK YOU!
