The Wilderness Call

I heard clearly in 2023 - Come out from Hiding!

God has a history of shaping and molding great Men and Women of spiritual leadership in the secret place. He led Abraham in Haran, Joseph in a prison cell, Moses in Midian, David in Gath (adullam), and Paul in Arabia. Each of them had to eventually come out from hiding to take their place amongst the people. There is nothing wrong with being in a season of hiding and being molded by the potter’s hands. Every vessel of clay eventually has to enter into service and face the refiners fire. The refiners fire is not found in the secret place.
“Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭48‬:‭10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
The refiners fire is found in assignment among the people. The Fire is what hardens the clay for a continuous service in its final form of ceramic. That’s where it is filled up and emptied and filled and emptied, time and time again. It keeps it form from the secret place, but it stands the test of time with a tempered flame 🔥 that hardens it to the point just right before the breaking. This is where a vessel can serve without self preservation always being the first concern. Come Out and enter the Fire. He didn’t perform a miracle just for you, He did it that all men and women might be saved John 3:17

“Now this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.”“For our God is a consuming fire.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12‬:‭27‬-‭29 NKJV‬‬

“For we did not follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His majesty. For He received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” And we heard this voice which came from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain. And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts; knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.”
‭‭II Peter‬ ‭1‬:‭16‬-‭21‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

While on assignment today in Woodbury TN the Lord made it clear that there is a hunger inside His Church of all ages to see His Glory! While God is blowing a fresh wind into a youthful generation to Run and not be weary and Walk and not faint, He is also breathing into an older generation to stand in faith to faith Romans 1:17 and teach Isaiah 28 precepts upon precepts and line upon line by the same Holy Ghost! Where these two merge, communities, cities, and regions thrive and prosper in the Blessings of God spoke to Solomon in 2 Chronicles 7. The church is not a building, but when it’s people are in Acts 2:43-47 unity and Matthew 16:8 faith, the church knocks down the gates of Hell working against it as it did in the days of King David. A church who isn’t fighting internally over buildings will become a powerhouse that walls cannot hold!
It’s a time to Build!

Damsel in Distress

Jesus is soon to return for a Bride (a glorious church) that is without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish - Ephesians 5:27

But there is a voice rising against the true Bride of Christ that is easy to identify by those seasoned with reading God’s Word and praying in the Spirit as Paul urged the church of Ephesus to often do. But if you are just getting here (to the Church) we want to help you stay on track because time is of the essence. You are in the right place and we can prove it. Not every good deed goes unpunished. That’s right, while everyone is gifted in helps to a certain degree, you have to remember that you are not saved by works, but by grace through your faith.
Ephesians 2:8-9
Faith shows a new measure of Discipline to your beliefs each day (His mercies are new every morning Lamentations 3:22-23). No work should ever rob you of your discipline like reading God’s Word, Praying, and Worshiping God daily. Measure your helps opportunities with this measure tape before you jump to the rescue.

To the Leaders: The Devil is in the details..stay on the wall. Some ministry Processes cannot be changed, because they guard your integrity and show your track records of convictions to match your beliefs. Stop buying into slogans that defame organized Christianity. In America, You cannot be a tax exempt religious organization and not be organized. It’s Illegal and unchristian. If you collect donations then you are a recognized public non profit organization and you have to keep records that reflect the design of your registered charter articles of incorporation. If you are not the above, then you better start writing receipts to your clients for time shares to heaven…🤥🤔. Govern your Church with fruits of the Spirit as much as gifts of the Spirit. Some have boards, some have council members, some have deacons or elders or bishops. No matter how it’s organized in your articles of incorporation, do it with honesty and integrity to those registered articles and the Word of God
1 Timothy 3.

The True Church is a safe place to be in every season of Life. Those who can’t stay long were likely never a part of it, maybe the grass is greener or maybe they just need a larger pasture to leave more piles of manure because they don’t absorb anything that they digest.

I. The Wrong Voice Will Mock the Vision

Nehemiah 4:1–3
Sanballat and Tobiah laughed at the work, ridiculed God’s people, and questioned whether they could accomplish what God had called them to do.
The enemy often attacks with ridicule before he attacks with force.

II. The Wrong Voice Tries to Distract the Leader

Nehemiah 6:1–4
Sanballat repeatedly invited Nehemiah to meet in the plain of Ono.
The invitation sounded reasonable but was designed to stop the work.
Nehemiah answered:
“I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down.”

Sometimes the greatest danger isn’t persecution—it’s distraction.

III. The Wrong Voice Uses Fear

Nehemiah 6:5–9
Sanballat spread false reports to frighten Nehemiah into quitting.
Nehemiah responded with prayer instead of panic.

IV. The Wrong Voice Can Sound Religious

Nehemiah 6:10–13
Shemaiah claimed to have a prophetic message telling Nehemiah to hide in the Temple.

It sounded spiritual—but it wasn’t from God.
Not every “word from the Lord” is from the Lord.
Every prophetic word should agree with:

* Scripture
* God’s character
* God’s calling
* The witness of the Holy Spirit

Discernment is essential.

V. The Church Must Stay on the Wall

The wall represented:

* Protection
* Identity
* Separation
* Worship
* Testimony

When the builders stayed on the wall:

* God strengthened them.
* The enemy was frustrated.
* The work was completed.

Nehemiah 6:15
The wall was finished in fifty-two days.

Who Are Sanballat and Tobiah Today?

They represent voices of:

* Discouragement
* Compromise
* Division
* Gossip
* False prophecy
* Intimidation
* Distraction
* Unbelief

These voices may come from outside the church—or even from within.

Jesus warned:

“My sheep hear my voice…” (John 10:27)

The church must be tuned to the Shepherd’s voice rather than every competing voice.

Freedom comes with a cost to all who desire! “Then He said to them, “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

The Nehemiah Assignment! In June 2022 the Lord made it clear that He had placed a burden upon Nichol and Myself as outsiders like Nehemiah (but connected by DNA) that He was sending us to desolate places to rebuild walls from standing foundations. In that season we were serving alongside Dr. Dennis Wilson who had a heart for the desolate and defeated Churches in the regions we target. So with much more revelation today, that burden was placed due to the Prayers and Cries like described in the Prayer of Jabez (1 Chronicles 4:9-10). We would find Help from many other Great Ministers of the Gospel and Servants along the way who would grab the shovel and the sword alongside of us. The Team led alongside chair Pastor David Daniels, and board members Teresa Daniels, Michael Allen Hurst and His wife Neda, promoted Sandra Driller, Dennis Driller, Sheila Beazley Bush Driller, Rondi R Almendinger, Chad & Ann Kable, Warship Leader Stacy Hurst, Johnny Griggs & His wife Sharon since May 2025, and Tony & Cheryl Bell since November 2025, Since the summer of 2023 has always went by 3 progress statuses in this assignment: Rebuild, Revive, and Resettle.
Today we get to celebrate a 4th progress status for Kingdom Builders Ministries as Promoted!
We prayed and battled for 2 years to find space after the Rickman, TN work had reached the Revived status, and we could never get a solid plan to expand the property there to meet the needs of discipling the families and members within the church. We couldn't understand it nor wrap our heads around it until now. In January 2026, one church became two as our family of 5 along with David & Bridget Brewer, Chad & Ann Kable, and Dale Kortesmaki felt led to begin the rebuild of Safe Harbor Church of God while Tony & Cheryl Bell took the torch to lead the Rickman Church. The Lord has blessed this adventure with more disciples in both churches and now given the Rickman Church known as Kingdom Builders Ministries the property and facility that we have been praying for. It works right into the Nehemiah Assignment with an opportunity to Build off of a Good Foundation inside the Church of God Cleveland, TN including the work from Pastors James & Katrina Collier who left a great foundation before getting Promoted to a great Work in Coalmont, TN. It has proven from all sides to be a God plan. Without God stalling our plans and putting up road blocks along the way and even some closed doors, we would have done things differently. But there is always a Kingdom Plan with more people, ministers, and ministries at stake than just us and our desires. Isaiah 40!
Celebrate and Pray for Kingdom Builders Ministries as they enter their new facility and partnership with the Church of God this Sunday 21st 10:30am, 1184 Burgess Falls Rd., Sparta, TN 38583

Got an opportunity today to stop by Rickman, Tennessee, and visit while they began making their changes for their fresh start! We want to be real with our followers. This is a season for fresh starts and new beginnings. “Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭43‬:‭19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
We are in the year after a jubilee year on the Hebrew calendar. Well, we know that sin and disobedience bring curses and rebuke by the hand of the Lord, yes, I said that ,even in the grace covenant the sixth dispensation sin still has cause and effect. But that’s the true beauty of the grace covenant is that despite the causes in effect that we might’ve earned with our choices, if we surrender and allow the Lord to do a new work inside of us, he will make all things new!
The apostle Paul, who is the author known as the letter to the church in Philippi: stressed that Jesus performed as the Redeemer spoken of in Isaiah 43 what the law could not do. He said:

“Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭3‬:‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
so don’t hold on to the failures don’t hold on to in forgiveness and bitterness and condemnation and shame of past choices. Surrender those things to Jesus and start walking in the new beginning!

The Church that was attached to the building and the things inside of it more than the people it served, because of past offenses and hurts, was described in Revelation 2:1-7. It stood in some hard times and hard situations fighting spiritual Lampstand battles. It made it through to the other side, but it became so hard hearted and calloused that it couldn’t find its way back to its first love. The true Church doesn’t stop and build false religious walls to protect itself from never going through that again. That’s religiosity to protect the Church from allowing people inside. It must return to its first Love being a battleship for the lost People despite the strikes it suffered in the war. A battleship doesn’t retire to become a cargo ship or a cruise ship. It’s always a battleship until it is laid to rest. After this battle it has to prepare for the next one and the next one. Heaven is counting on it!
Pastor Johnny Griggs brought this similar on-time message to our Rickman congregation about 8 months ago and it came to my memory in a mighty way today. Heaven is counting on the refinement of our Churches to get back to our First Love!

We stand with the Doctrine of Holiness and Righteousness!
He used a donkey once.. he used even the rider of the donkey once.. but God will not continually use someone who is not submitting to His doctrine which is spelled out in standards through his apostles teachings such as 1 Timothy 3. Titus 1,2,&3. Ephesians 4 and 5.

Even the First Church: “Therefore, brethren, seek out from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business;”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭6‬:‭3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Righteousness and holiness Will set an Isaiah 28 and Hebrews 7 Priesthood standard always and forever.

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
‭‭I John‬ ‭1‬:‭9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

What are you connected to?

Almost 2 years ago I was beginning my first assignment as Pastor of a church that had been beaten and battered very heavily. As I opened up the desk in the Pastor‘s office for the first time and began sorting through information and learning the things and task that I had to complete to fulfill my duty as Pastor I found a letter that was between a group of churches that were all once part of the United Methodist Church. The original building that I now was pastor of, once was a United Methodist Church, but not in this season as I was pastoring a non-denominational church. But as I read this letter between this group or some say district of churches, the Methodist would record this as a diocese, I noticed one important thing. There were many churches in this district who were suffering loss and poverty and sickness in great measures, but there were about three churches that were experiencing renewal and revival, and one of those was the head district church. The other two churches that were experiencing hope and renewal and healing were attached to the programs and the same move of the Holy Spirit as the head district Church. The other churches had distanced themselves and disconnected themselves from the stem of the lamp stand.

Exodus 37:17-24 The Making of the Lampstand - Moses records of how the Lord instructed the design of the lampstand. You can easily notice that no one branch is left by itself alone, and that every two branches are connected at a k**b which represents a blossoming bud. Each blossoming bud sprouts to another pair which ultimately leads to one higher light or you could say higher authority. that is fed from the branches connected below. The design of the lamp stand is not confused with the arc of the covenant of where the power and the mercy flows down, but the lamp stand represents God‘s church which is formed from the cornerstone or as Jesus said to Peter this rock that I will build my church upon.

The Prophet Zechariah recorded his vision in chapter 4 of the seven lamp stands and the seven pipes. The Prophet and apostle John records in Revelations Ch 1 through 3 the seven lampstands and the seven stars representing the seven churches that he would write letters to based on revelation knowledge from heaven.

Now, with this said about the letters to the seven churches in Revelation, I want to ask you again what are you connected to? Let’s say that you are connected to the lamp stand recognized as the church of Philadelphia. The next question is; are you OK with your place on the stem and not fighting to choke out the ones connected to you but taking your place and standing tall and supporting the others?
