We have been BUSY this week!!!!!
Our shelves are up, freezers cleaned and plugged in- we are READY to accept food donations!

The Lord has provided every single need thus far and we have no doubt that He will continue to do so.

Our biggest needs at this time are:
-a rolling utility cart
-mini split AC units (x3)

If you have any of these items that you aren’t using or know anyone who might, please let us know!

We told you we’d have an update and HERE IT IS!

This is our list that we created about a month ago to kinda get our brain on paper. As of yesterday, Sunday 4/26, we have been given, gotten, or been promised almost EVERYTHING that we need.
LOOK AT GOD
as of now, the couple things we need most urgently are:
-freezer(s)
-commercial coffee maker
-FOOD

We can’t thank y’all enough for everything so far and we are so excited to see what God continues to do!

We got a message from Overton/Pickett 911 this week and wanted to share!!!!
Y’all be vigilant and stay safe!

We are seeing a rise in scam calls targeting our community, especially our elderly population, and we need your help spreading the word.

Scammers are getting more sophisticated. They can now make it look like they are calling from local law enforcement numbers, including the sheriff’s department or police department.

Here’s what they are doing:

* Telling people they have warrants for their arrest
* Claiming the U.S. Marshals are on the way
* Demanding payment immediately to “resolve” the issue
* Asking for money, gift cards, or other forms of payment
* Even saying an “undercover marshal” will come collect the money

👉 THIS IS A SCAM.

Let us be very clear:

❗ The Overton County Sheriff’s Department,
❗ Livingston Police Department, and
❗ U.S. Marshals Service

WILL NEVER CALL YOU demanding money or asking for payment over the phone.

Please help protect our community:

* Talk to your congregations
* Especially warn elderly members
* Remind everyone: If it involves urgency + fear + money = it’s a scam

We are seeing too many of our local citizens lose their hard-earned savings to these criminals.

Hey friends!! We just wanted to say how incredible thankful we are for all of your support, donations, and prayers ALREADY. We firmly believe that God has His hand all over this and we can’t wait to see what all He is going to do!
