✨ Sand Hill PTO Meeting Recap ✨

While we are ALL counting down the days until summer vacation ☀️… your PTO is already hard at work planning for next school year! A lot of time, thought, and teamwork goes into making these events and decisions happen for our students, staff, and families. 💙

Here’s a quick recap from today’s meeting:
• Discussed potential shade options for the playgrounds 🛝
• Began planning for Fall Festival 2026 🍂
• Talked PTO basketball games 🏀
• Introduced new PTO officers 👏
• Our BUCKY mascot has been ordered & delivered! 🦌
• Discussed fundraiser ideas for next school year 💰
• Talked about offering potential Zoom meeting options for those unable to attend in person 💻

We would LOVE to hear feedback, ideas, and suggestions from our Sand Hill families and community! Your input matters and helps us make decisions that benefit everyone. 💙

Thank you to Autumn Kittrell for making the teachers their sweatshirts from the PTO. They were phenomenal!!

This week has been amazing thanks to the community! Without you we couldn’t have done it! Y’all are amazing!

An update on the time capsule: it is STILL buried in the front lawn. We dug something up but it was in fact NOT a time capsule. 😂We are going to try to use radar to locate it. We will keep you updated!

We are going to attempt to have the time capsules dug and in the gym at 1:30 we aren’t going to open them just have them dug and ready to open at 1:30

Next Friday, May 15th at approximately 9:45. This will be directly following the awards program.

We are still planning on having the time capsule dig tomorrow at 1:30. Gather in front of the school around the sign. We will have cake and punch in the gym foyer immediately following. If it’s raining bring an umbrella and wear rain boots!

Day 2 of teacher appreciation!!

Thank you to Kristan Odom for providing cinnamon rolls, Marlene McLain for providing pasta salad and a loaded potato bar, and Bryce Settle for providing Nothing Bundt Cakes.

Everything was delicious and much appreciated by our teachers and staff!
