It’s about more than the miles. It’s about the lives we impact.

6 months out! The countdown to the 2027 Snowball Cancer Valentine Rides officially starts today. ❄️❤️

Carrying the torch forward, one mile at a time. ❄️❤️

On July 11th, the Keller Family Community Foundation and the Snowball team visited the Helen DeVos Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids to deliver on a promise. We proudly presented a total of $110,000 to establish a new lifeline for pediatric oncology families.

Through this contribution, $100,000 creates a permanent, perpetual endowment (Keller Family Community Foundation - Riding with Martin Catalano) to anchor longterm support, while $10,000 is unlocked for immediate use to help families currently walking through the hospital doors.

Nick Keller started the Snowball with a simple but powerful goal: to ease the burden on families fighting cancer. By covering travel, gas, and lodging expenses, these funds ensure parents can focus entirely on their child's health, not the cost of the commute. 🚗❤️

Nick always believed that together, we could go the distance. Thank you to every rider, donor, sponsor, and volunteer who helped make this moment possible. His vision lives on through your incredible generosity. 💛

Big News from MercyOne North Iowa Cancer Center! 💛
Yesterday, the Keller Family Community Foundation (Snowball cancer) had the incredible honor of presenting a total of $82,500 to support local cancer patients in Mason City, Iowa!
Here is how these funds will make a difference:
* $75,000 has been dedicated to establishing a brand-new, perpetual endowment fund. This ensures a permanent, lasting source of support for local families for years to come.
* $7,500 has been made available for immediate use to start helping patients right now.
We know that fighting cancer is an exhausting battle, and the hidden costs like fuel, lodging, and travel expenses should never stand in the way of life-saving care. These combined funds are specifically dedicated to lifting that burden, helping local families cover travel-related expenses so they can focus entirely on getting to and from their treatments and getting well. ❤️
A massive thank you to everyone who has supported our events, donated, and rallied behind the mission. Because of your generosity, we can provide both immediate relief today and a sustainable promise of help for tomorrow.
Together, we’re making a difference, one mile at a time. ❄️💪

Taking a trip down memory lane today.

Nick’s journals from 2010 and 2011 are more than just logs of miles—they are a testament to what can be achieved when we ride for something bigger than ourselves. If you've ever wondered what those back-to-back 60-day stretches were really like, Nick’s own words take you right there to the handlebars.

From 9 to 78—We Ride as One! 🏁❄️❤️

This year’s Valentine Rides proved that you’re never too young (or too old) to make a difference! We are so proud of our diverse group of riders who helped us raise $230,819.28 for Snowball Cancer endowments.

A huge shoutout to our generational heroes:

Our Oldest Rider: At 78 years young, showing us all how it’s done!

Our 500-Mile Teens: Four 14-year-olds and a 15-year-old who tackled the full 500 miles on their own!

Our Youngest Warrior: A 9-year-old who completed 250 miles on a 2-up behind her dad!

Whether you rode 500 miles or supported us from home, you’ve helped secure a future where cancer patients at MercyOne North Iowa and Helen DeVos Children's Hospital can focus on healing, not travel costs.

These endowments ensure that travel expenses never stand in the way of a patient receiving life-saving care. To every person who donated, cheered us on, or helped us spread the word—THANK YOU. You are the reason this mission continues to grow.

Thank you for an unforgettable year!
