10 years of gingerbread, community, and cause. Let's celebrate! 🏠

Save the date, Richmond! Our Gingerbread House Challenge is turning 10, and we're bringing the celebration to Hardywood Craft Brewery on Sunday, November 15th.

For a decade, this has been one of the sweetest traditions in RVA: teams rolling up their sleeves, friendly competition, wild creativity, and a whole lot of heart, all in the name of building quality, attainable homes across our region.

Now we're marking 10 years of it, and this one's going to be the biggest yet. Gather your crew, dust off your frosting skills, and come be part of the celebration.

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming residents from Cedarfield for a bus tour and behind-the-scenes look at Better Housing Coalition’s work across the Greater Richmond region.

From meaningful conversations to shared stories and plenty of laughter, the day was a wonderful reminder that lasting change begins with connection. Together, we explored how safe, stable, and affordable housing creates opportunities for individuals and families to thrive.
