Hey guys! I'm sorry I've been MIA recently. I started a new job and I've been dealing with some serious foot pain recently that will not go away. 😞 But I am planning a FREE MEAL this Saturday April 25th at 3pm. 129 Bighill Avenue Richmond Ky. However this one is going to be different. We will have all the food prepared in togo boxes with a drink and it will be for pick up ONLY. All you have to do is drive up, tell us how many plates your family needs and we will hand them to you. Yall have a blessed week! I'm excited for Saturday πŸ’œ

TRAFFIC DIRECTION UPDATE****

If you came in from Race Street,
Turned through the church lot (Mama Farris Way), then turned on Squires,
Parked to the side and go down the steps to get food everyone would be positioned to just pull out back onto Big Hill and create better traffic flow during times we have several people in line for meals and volunteer drivers for delivery. FREE meal tomorrow January 17th at 5pm. Pick up is 129 BigHill Avenue (Revival Hope Tabernacle) (you can pull on the left side of the church and come down those concrete steps to the white door and that's where I'll be) if you or your family needs a meal tomorrow evening but do not have a way to come get it you can message me your address and how many you need (within Richmond city limits and depending on how far out you are from us) also it's while supplies last. We are having hotdogs on buns, little bags of chips, chocolate chip cookies and water bottles. If you plan on picking up trays or need them to be delivered please message me today with how many you will need and if you're picking up or need delivery so I can plan ahead! UPDATE- Thanks to a couple of great people we are 100% ready for our next meal. I will get with the volunteers soon and come up with the best day for us to have the meal. As soon as we plan I will make a post with the info πŸ’œ

Hey guys! I'm sorry I haven't put out a date for a free meal yet this month. I am trying my best to get the ball rolling with it. These meals cost a lot of money to pull off each one and every time the number of trays we're making keeps growing. Right now we have no donations. We haven't received any donations since the end of November and we have done 3 meals since then. So I am asking if anyone or any business wants to help and donate food items, styrofoam food trays, water bottles, cashapp donations (Brittanybradshaw98) literally anything will help us keep this going. We are now part of a 501C so if anyone would like to donate and needs a receipt for a tax write off I can definitely get you that. Everyone deserves a hot meal no matter what so let's show up for these people that are in need. Show them that there are people that care about them. They matter! They are loved! πŸ’œ

Thriving Hope MISSION STATEMENT πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ

At Thriving Hope we believe every single person deserves a good home cooked meal. What started with one mom trying her best with what she had to help feed a few families who had abruptly lost their snap benefits has since turned into a twice monthly meal drive. We are a 100% volunteer based organization and mostly ran by a few loving mommas! We do not get paid to do this, all of the volunteers including myself use our own money for gas for delivery and if we still need something for a meal and have no donations we use our own money to make it happen. We work out of Revival Hope Tabernacle's kitchen, our community partner, and provide hot meals by pick up or delivery if you're in need and have no means of pick up within Richmond city limits.

WE RUN SOLELY ON DONATIONS AND AT THIS TIME WE CANNOT HELP WITH ANY OTHER ASSISTANCE OUTSIDE OF OUR TWICE MONTHLY MEAL COMMITMENT. We have been receiving a lot of messages for a lot of different needs and we just do not have it like that to help in those areas, if we did we totally would as we are just a couple of loving mommas and truly care. πŸ˜₯ If you have any other needs other than the twice monthly meals please reach out to other community organizations for additional resources. Thank you!

Tomorrow Saturday December 27th we will have a free ham dinner, with macaroni and cheese and mashed potatoes. The address for pick up is 129 BigHill Avenue Richmond ky. Dinner will be ready at 5pm. You can enter the church from the left side, there are concrete steps that go downstairs to the main kitchen door and that's where I'll be. Please send me a message today of how many plates your family will need so tomorrow I will be prepared. I hope everyone had a great Christmas ❀️

My heart is absolutely so full tonight! Not only did we have Turkey, ham, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, green beans and rolls one of our good friends from the Richmond Police Department Jinny Skees came to help with food deliveries and had a cruiser full of toys to deliver to the kids getting the meals. It was a great night! 😭πŸ₯ΉπŸ₯ΉπŸ˜πŸ«ΆπŸ»πŸ©·
