Our mission is to foster enthusiasm for bicycling in Richmond by encouraging a sense of community, promoting safety among riders and drivers, and creating pride in the city through a distinctive bike helmet as a visually compelling symbol of unity. We are working local charities, student groups and organizations to sell the helmets, while being ambassadors of the project.What is so great, is that
our cause is not limited to one charity oranother, and the choice is left to the consumer! We are seeking interested businesses or individuals to become sponsors to help with the cost. The custom I AM RVA helmets will be sold at $50, with up to 80% going to Richmond charities. We are working directly with Giro, a leading manufacture of helmets and safety! Think about it, a $15,000 donation gets turned into $50,000 and a
$30,000 donation to $100,000 through the reselling of our helmets. No other
charity can give such great returns and direct impact to the community
while doing something that is a safety measure and the right thing.
