In between deciding if he wants to live or die, Solomon has made a new best friend in Henny Penny.. Today was a pretty good day for him, minus having at least one seizure, but it beat the four he had yesterday so we’re heading in the right direction? Seems to be gaining a little weight too. Man, he’s cute!

This little lump of sugar was taken in as a bottle baby and the family caring for him noticed his condition declining. He was brought to us, since we have the experience caring for little ones who seem to be touch-and-go. He is still not out of the woods and decompensated today to the point that I held him as he seemed to be taking his last breaths.
Lo and behold, he rallied, and can now hold up his head and has eaten from a bottle for the first time. Earlier, he was incredibly weak. We are thrilled and cautiously optimistic. If you’re the praying type, please send some up for him. He needs all the prayers, good vibes, and positive thoughts you all have to offer. He came to us named Coco, but now has a nickname of King Solomon, since he’s so strong!
Much of what he needs is hands-on around-the-clock, care and medication.
If you’d like to help with his care, we’re always grateful for any donations. He’ll need feed and hay now and we hope to continue giving good reports on his progress.

UNCLE GRANDPA LOVING has moved in with us just in time for Father’s Day! He grew too big for the current owner and needed to be rehomed. Just kidding, that’s just one of the many excuses people use to try to get us to take their pigs. We love ALL pigs, so of course we said we’d give him a good home!

What a beautiful day for these two sisters. TEN years ago, we took in a pregnant mother, Mud-dea who had nine piglets. Little did we know that three of them would be here all these years later!

Taking in a pig can be a 20 yr commitment, so you better be sure! We love Dottie and Pudge so much and are so glad they are part of our family. Happy Gotcha Day, girls! 💜🐽🩷
