We are a volunteer-led group of parents and staff working together to support our students, teachers, and school community.

☀️🐝 The Summer Edition of Squad Buzz is here!

As we wrap up an incredible school year, we're celebrating the volunteers, families, students, staff, donors, and community partners who helped our Hive thrive.

This year, together we:
💛 Raised $1,000+ through the HSS Silent Auction
💛 Supported 49 campus events and initiatives
💛 Provided 210+ staff meals during Teacher Appreciation Week
💛 Shared 140+ wellness giveaways and gift cards
💛 Welcomed support from 72 donors, 56 volunteers, and 25 community partners

But beyond the numbers, we built connections, strengthened our school community, and created memories that will last for years to come.

The fun doesn't stop here! Stay tuned to our socials for summer activities, spirit nights, family meetups, and exciting updates as we get ready for another amazing year.

🚔 One of our most exciting Hornet Silent Auction experiences came to life this morning! 🐝

These twin Hornets enjoyed breakfast and a ride to school with our amazing SRO, Officer Randy, complete with flashing lights, big smiles, and unforgettable memories!

A huge thank you to Officer Randy, joined by Officer Hall, and the Lamar CISD Police Department for helping make this such a fun and special experience for our students and families!

🌍✈️ 𝗛𝗦𝗦 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗽 💛🐝

As we head into the final week of school, we’re looking back on an incredible week celebrating our amazing teachers and staff “𝗔𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱!” 🌎

From Italy 🇮🇹 to Mexico 🇲🇽, Vietnam 🇻🇳, and Paris 🇫🇷, our staff enjoyed themed meals, wellness giveaways, sweet surprises, and so many thoughtful touches throughout the week. It was so much fun getting to celebrate the people who do so much for our students every single day!

A huge thank you to our Hornet families, volunteers, local businesses, wellness sponsors, and community partners who helped make the week so special through food, prizes, desserts, gift cards, wellness experiences, and encouragement along the way. 💛

We loved seeing teachers, staff, volunteers, and community partners come together all week long to help create so many fun and meaningful moments for our campus community. 🐝✨

Our teachers and staff truly are our world! 🌎💛

✨ Heritage Night 2026 ✨

What an incredible evening celebrating the many cultures, traditions, and talents that make our Hutchison community so special. 🌎🐝

From the student projects and hallway displays to the performances, crafts, and family activities throughout the night — it was amazing seeing our campus come together.

A huge thank you to Mrs. Mickey and the Hutchison staff for putting together such a fun and meaningful event for our families! 💛

Hornet Support Squad was proud to help support the evening through balloons, the photo backdrop, and our silent auction experiences.

Shoutout to for an awesome performance during the event! 👏

🚨🐝 During Law Enforcement Appreciation Week, we had to give a special shoutout to Officer Randy… aka “Sergeant Sting”… yes, we may have just made that nickname up 😂

Today, Sergeant Sting was on official Hornet Support Squad snack patrol, delivering afternoon refuel snacks and a midday boost to our teachers and staff 💛

At this point, Officer Randy feels like part of the Hornet Support Squad team and our Hutchison family. Whether he’s helping at events, supporting staff, or simply always showing up for our campus, we appreciate him more than he knows.

Thanks for always showing up for Hutchison, Sergeant Sting! 🐝🚔
