This online beauty store was created by our campers as part of learning entrepreneurship, branding, marketing, and business ownership through our Hair We Go program. What started as a youth beauty and entrepreneurship program is now giving youth real hands on experience building something of their own.

Right here in Richmond, our girls and teens are learning braiding, beauty, and business, not just as a hobby, but as a pathway to something bigger.

Every summer we get more applications than we can handle. Kids are on waitlists. Families are asking. The need is real.

Kids are out for the holidays, so this is the perfect time to give them something fun, creative, and productive to do. Hair We Go is hosting a Friendsgiving beauty day they will love.

🚨 Hair We Go Update 🚨

We are excited to share that we are currently working on our upcoming Hair We Go program for youth in our community. New details, dates, and registration information will be posted soon. Thank you to everyone who has reached out, supported, and waited patiently.

We have also expanded to offer a Hair We Go Workforce Development program for ages 18 to 24 that will help prepare young adults for real career opportunities in the beauty and business industry.

Stay tuned and be ready. Hair We Go is leveling up again, and we cannot wait to pour into our future beauty and business leaders.

Our Hair We Go students have spent the last 9 weeks learning, growing, and leveling up their skills and now they want to give back to the community! 💜

Do you know a youth who could benefit from a FREE hairstyle or haircut?

We’re offering:

👧🏾 Knotless braid styles & cornrows — styled by licensed and experienced professionals, with student assistants helping with prep (braiding down, parting, etc.)

💈 Haircuts provided by a professional barber — available both Sunday 8/10 and 8/17(different location)!

💅🏾 Donation-based full sets by our talented Youth Nail Tech (ages 17 & under only)

⚠️ Must come with hair washed and blow-dried

⚠️ Must bring your own braiding hair (we will only have a limited selection of pre-colored hair available) sponsored by EZBRAID
