Join us for a fun-filled community block party in partnership with our amazing local businesses as we come together to celebrate hometown pride. Enjoy line dancing, DJ music, food and drinks from local vendors, door prizes, and a 50/50 raffle—all while supporting the heroes and businesses that make Richmond special. Grab your boots, bring your friends and family, and meet us on June 20th from 5–10 PM for a night of great music, great food, and even better company. 🤠

Today the Richmond Hometown Heroes in partnership with the Richmond Kroger distributed 15 Christmas dinners to some of our residents, we want to thank Kroger for their very generous donation. We also would like to thank Officers Mason, Zuellig, Behnke and Ovstedal for helping out with this. Many hands make light work. We look forward to helping more of our residents next year.

Our friends at main stop market 69209 Main st are selling Richmond Hometown Heroes bottles of holiday spirits ( Buffalo Trace). A portion of every bottle sold will be donated to our charity to be used for upcoming events. So please get down to Main stop market and see Sal for this limited edition bottle. We hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday.

As we get closer to the end of 2025, we want to say THANK YOU to all those who have donated this year. Without thoughtful donations, none of this would be possible. We are very grateful to be part of this wonderful community. We only have 11 2025 wrist bands left, I am confident that we can sell all of them before the year is over. Stop by the police department to get yours today before they are gone. Have a great holiday season.

Merry Christmas!

Our heroes had a great time at our “Shop With A Hero” event. We had amazing volunteers and donors. A huge thank to our friends at Meijer for hosting, providing refreshments, and a holiday bag for each child. We are excited to see you next year!

We could not do this event without the help of our donors and volunteers. This year we were able to sponsored 13 amazing children for Christmas, next year we hope to double our numbers.

We will continue to spread Christmas cheer thought out the holiday season. With that in mind please remember our “Giving tree” presents are due back by December 19th (we need to give Santa enough time to wrap all of the gifts before delivering them to the kids).

Our giving tree is in full swing, stop by the Police Department to pick up an ornament! On that ornament you will find a child in need, all information is attached! ☃️

Please bring all gifts back UNWRAPPED, for the children’s safety we are inspecting each gift.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!! If you feel your heart growing three sizes please stop in and grab an ornament, attached is all the information you need to help a child. All gifts must be returned by the night of December 19th and will be inspected by a first responder for the child’s safety. ❄️🎅🏻

This weekend is the perfect time to stop by the Richmond Police Department and pick up coats, hats, gloves, and blankets. All donated items are located in the community room that you can access from our lobby. We have tons of styles and colors to choose from. We hope to see you!

The Richmond Hometown Heroes coat drive is this weekend friday, Saturday, and sunday in the community room at the police department, stop by and see if we have anything that will work for you. Also, it looks like we may have some blankets as well. All are welcome. Supplies are limited.
