We are still distributing emergency levels of water across the Gaza Strip. The environments we truck water into are high in population and water scarce.

The water crisis in the Gaza remains dire due to the ongoing blockade on crucial items that could improve and repair Gaza’s water infrastructure.

As a result of the Israeli blockade on Gaza, a majority of the population relies on water trucking services like those that we provide at Operation Realife.

On top of the obvious goal of getting Palestinians water, we try to reduce the number of steps that Palestinians need to take to collect their water. These water trucking services immensely reduce the effort, energy, and time that Palestinians have to spend getting access to water.

Operation Realife has been distributing emergency levels of water in the Gaza Strip since April of 2025.
After our pilot initiative concluded in June of 2025, we turned our water distribution initiative into a permanent initiative.

Every month we have a goal of getting clean water to 60,000 Palestinians. We are 100% small donor funded, so this is made possible with your support.

This image is from one of our first water distribution events all the way back on April 15th of this year. Part of our fourth initiative, labeled with the initiative designator I-004.

These water pails are not easy to carry for anyone, let alone for children - and without adequate footwear. Collecting a few liters of water is a daily journey for Palestinians. It is accompanied with a tireless search for a water distribution event, finding unreliable water sources and distribution points, or turning to the sea to collect seawater.

Trucking water into communities does not dissolve the hardship by any means, but it does alleviate the struggle to search for water. Operation Realife trucks water across the Gaza Strip into underserved communities thanks to your support.

Now, here we are 205 days after this picture was taken and the struggle remains exactly the same. We are still distributing water thanks to your support - under our permanent rolling initiative (RI-001), we have monthly water goals. This month, we hope to serve 60,000 Palestinians with clean water.

Operation Realife just started our November water distributions.

We have been delivering water since April of this year, and day after day, month after month, our team continues to show up. Our efforts truly do remain critical for the communities we serve.

In November, our goal is to serve 60,000 Palestinians again with water because the need is just as great as ever. Our biggest barrier to serving more people is funding.

Operation Realife has been on the ground in Gaza since January of this year. We have been distributing aid all throughout the year. Our October water distribution events reached 60,000 people.
