Break out the eyeliner, your favorite pair of scuffed-up vans, and your darkest skinny jeans for our Second Annual Emo Evening At Oblivion! We’ll be partying like it’s 2008 at this creative gathering; join us starting at 5:00 P.M. next Friday, October 30, 2026 ,for a night of creative fun packed with rounds of alternative art games, angsty poetry writing, era-inspired D.I.Y. Crafts, and *not okay* vibes.

To answer the question of the most widely asked ~hot topic~, we’ll be blasting tunes you cried to in middle school (and still do in your car as an adult), music from a time when My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, and Panic! At The Disco were all still making music at the same time. We can’t wait to see you at this Pay-What-You-Can-Cover-Charge, event. This event will be all ages and family friendly from 5:00 P.M. - 7:30 P.M.; 21+ only begins at 7:30 P.M., and alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase in alignment with DORA regulations from neighboring Roscoe’s Coffee Bar & Tap Room for carryover.

Bennett is a talented guy.

But this is not Bennett.

Bennett was supposed to teach an Oil Painting Class this Weekend.

But Bennett forgot he had a wedding to attend.

Bennett can paint very well, but Bennett can’t be in two places at once; Bennett is but a man, after all.

Instead, Join Kate this Saturday, October 24, 2026 at 3:00 P.M. at Oblivion Cinema & Arts for a round of Oil Painting with (Not) Bennett Ritchie.

No registration is required for this gathering priced at $35 per patron—Bennett won’t see you there, but we will.
