Tomorrow, August 31, is International Overdose Awareness Day (IOAD), the world’s largest campaign to remember those lost and to take action to save lives. DPHS and RAAEMS (RAA) are partnering to raise awareness, highlight available resources and educate the public on lifesaving measures.

Join us at our West Grace Health Center, 517 West Grace Street, from 7:30 - 10:30 a.m. Together we can save lives.

The Greater Richmond region will be experiencing extreme heat in the coming days. Know the signs of heat exhaustion vs. heat stroke. Stay hydrated and inside if you are able to do so - the City and surrounding counties have opened cooling stations through the weekend.

We are grateful to our partners at Homeward UnitedHealthcare and United Way for their recent donations of water and hot weather essentials.

Together we can help our vulnerable neighbors, especially those that are unsheltered.
