It’s happening! We are 🙌 B A C K 🙌 If you’ve been around here a while, you’ll remember our big, grand-scale, in-person celebrations celebrating dozens of children at one big community birthday party. These took place at schools all over Richmond, every single month! So we are ELATED to share that we are bringing the magic back in our very own space on Oliver Hill Way starting in January 2025 🥳 Pizza, cake, party activities, and gifts will be provided for every birthday kiddo and a guardian is asked to be a part of the celebration! We believe celebration is a family affair and want to equip caretakers with the resources they need to celebrate 🤍 If your kiddo has a birthday in January and they may not otherwise have a celebration, you’re invited to fill out the form in our bio!

looking to volunteer this week?? We NEED you!!! Tuesday, our friends from and are bringing a literal truckload of supplies and we’d love your help unloading it from 11-1. we will have snacks and plenty of wagons 🎉 and then on Wednesday, we need your help packing bags and getting the HUNDREDS OF August + September requests we have already received from teachers and administrators out the door from 9-11. link to sign up is in our bio 👐🏽🙏🫶🏼

it’s been a special week of celebrations for our referral partners! these are just two of the gifts that we delivered (in addition to party supplies and decorations) to our partners at and . we believe in meeting our birthday kiddos exactly where they are and so if that means a birthday succulent and a hello kitty celebration for two of the bravest heroes we know, then that’s what we will do! your support means we can continue to say YES to every referral that we receive - we simply cannot do this without you 🤍 so thankful we can bring joy to sometimes very dark days!

the first birthday bag (with some extra school supplies for this amazing teacher) of the 2024-2025 school year was delivered to Cardinal Elementary, an RPS 200 school today as they went back to class this week 🎉 we are getting ready to kick into HIGH gear as we open up our request form for teachers on 8/1. Last year, we received thousands of requests in the first few days of the form being live so we are opening it up earlier so we can be prepared for deliveries to begin in late August! we have two big needs:

1 | Join The Party, our monthly giving program. $20 every month provides a celebration for one child. You’ll get an email every month introducing you to a special kiddo we’ve celebrated and other fun surprises!

2 | volunteer with us! all of our dates through August have been posted!

we are so grateful for our and family for always showing up BIG for us! because we do not have a loading dock at our center, they generously accept all of our wholesale pallet deliveries at their warehouse. their team then loads up and gets alllll of our party supplies down to party central 🥳🤩 thousands of plates, napkins, candles, and a few hundred pounds of confetti made its way down to us yesterday - sign up to volunteer in April and help pack it all into birthday bags! The Cobb team will probably be there, too 🥳

we had the honor of celebrating this trio of brothers alongside their parents, friends, and family with our partners at 🥳 after a medical emergency cancelled a planned celebration, mom and dad had too much on their plate to make new plans, which is where we were thrilled to step in! the boys were so surprised and had a full afternoon of cake and legos 🥳

a very special party today with one of our newest referral partners: Liberation Family Services! we were thrilled to celebrate these six year old twins and have TWO special guests - Spider-Man and Ariel! Currently unhoused, our two birthday kiddos and their family needed an afternoon full of joy and love, focused on creating special memories 🩷 Many thanks to the incredible team that helped pull this one off!

A PERFECT 10! We are fierce believers in joy – even in heartbreak. That’s what makes this next memory so special.

Betsy’s Confetti Club was established in memory of founding member Betsy Haas, a lively and charismatic girl who lived her nine years to the fullest before she passed away in July 2016. On Betsy’s 13th birthday, her parents, Cathy and Jay, chose to donate her birthday to us to celebrate children who otherwise wouldn’t have the opportunity to be honored on their special day.

Now, Betsy’s Confetti Club is a group of individuals dedicated to donating their birthdays to us and giving more children the opportunity to experience birthday party joy!

We are truly honored to carry on Betsy’s legacy of spreading smiles and laughter, and are proud to display the names in our center of supporters who have donated their birthday to help provide celebrations for other children; just like Betsy’s family does for her birthday each year. The Confetti Club wall was made possible by generous gifts from some of Betsy’s loved ones - Michelle Miller, Bev Brown, and Erin Sutton.
