This Black History Month, we honor “Cheezi” Luise Farmer, a visionary leader and one of three founders of Black Pride RVA. Through her unwavering dedication, she has created a space where Black LGBTQ+ individuals can celebrate their identities, find community, and uplift one another.

As the driving force behind Black Pride RVA, Cheezi has worked tirelessly to ensure visibility, advocacy, and empowerment for Black q***r and trans individuals in Virginia and beyond. Her leadership continues to inspire change, foster inclusivity, and strengthen the foundation for future generations.

We celebrate her contributions, resilience, and commitment to uplifting Black LGBTQ+ voices. Thank you, Cheezi, for your impact and legacy! Thank you so supporting local grassroots nonprofits like us here at Thriving Transmen of Color.
