Our entire inventory of tools & special event equipment is available to any community group doing charitable work for just 3 cents on the dollar for a full week. Regardless of what your project or volunteer group size is, we almost certainly have items that you'll save time and money by borrowing instead of buying. Our Tool Hubs on Southside Richmond are looking beautiful this evening and are filled of tools for upcoming projects! 💫

We're so appreciate of our recent collaboration with Altria, Community Foundation, and Hamilton Glass to bring these vibrant satellites to life and to lessens transportation barriers, time, and efforts for our CBOs down on Southside Richmond. They're located at Broad Rock Sports Complex off of Warwick road.

Our ToolBOX program offers pay-what-you-can home maintenance and tool training workshops right here in Richmond, removing financial barriers so more people can gain the skills, confidence, and access they need to care for their homes.

We start by sharing knowledge, then provide hands-on guidance so participants can safely put their new skills into practice. It’s time to put down the roller and level up! 👆 Our hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop takes the intimidation out of paint sprayers and will give you the confidence to finish a room, fence, or kitchen cabinet remodel in a fraction of the time. PLUS, you'll get expert advice on how to clean the machine so it can be used for countless future projects!

Did you know that Richmond ToolBank waived all tool lending fees for neighborhood cleanups in April? ♻️

That's because of the first annual Richmond Shines initiative, a month-long city wide campaign focused on Neighborhood cleanups, Storm drain clearing, Trash pickup, and other similar community revitalization activities.

In April alone, we lended out: 358 Trash Grabbers, nearly, 650 pairs of gloves, and over 500 pieces of safety equipment. That’s nearly $12,000 in retail tool costs provided free to organization and volunteer groups.

Thanks to our generous community partners including Clean City Commission, Community Foundation, Southside ReLeaf, & the Chesapeake Bay Foundation; we were able to create a lasting impact together! ❤️
