What a fun meeting tonight!

Making sandwiches to restock RVA Community Fridges - our featured project for this Rotary year! In addition to packing meals, we plan to do some fun big ticket projects... Stay tuned 🤩

We start each Rotary meeting with "happy dollars" time, a chance for each member to share something fun and happy, and put a dollar towards the club budget. For the '25-'26 Rotary year, we collected $800 happy dollars from our members, which we donated to CART in alignment with one of District Governor Pat Edwards's focus areas for her governing year!

Every gift makes a difference, and every Rotary club that gives is helping move Alzheimer's research forward.

Thank you to The Rotary Club of Church Hill, Richmond in Rotary District 7600 for choosing to and invest in hope, discovery, and a future without Alzheimer's.

We love to hear this! The Period Patch does such great work for such an important cause - everyone deserves reliable access to menstrual supplies!

The WHY, WHO, HOW.... LET'S KEEP IT GOING! 🥰

Today we received an e-mail from a 6th grade teacher in the Richmond Public Schools. She asked if we might be able to provide her with a box of pads for her classroom. We said, yes!, we will leave a box out on the porch to PU (PIC OF BOX BELOW). I received another email from her a short time later: "I am on your porch. And I am not sure if I should take the whole box." I opened the door and said, YES! of course! Her eyes filled with tears and she couldn't believe it. She said: "the school nurse has some supplies, but isn't always in the office and some of my students don't have products at home. I saw the products in the Henrico County Library bathroom and saw they were provided by The Period Patch and took a picture and decided to reach out."

This particular box of products came from The Rotary Club of Church Hill, Richmond and Luminary Hair Co. product drive. And thanks to the Henrico County Libraries for helping spread the word.
