11 runners. $115,000+ raised. 10,000 miles from home. 26.2 miles through Sydney. One incredible team. 🏃‍♀️🇦🇺🏃‍♂️

This past Sunday, 11 incredible runners crossed the finish line of the TCS Sydney Marathon presented by ASICS in Sydney, Australia!

But their impact went far beyond 26.2 miles. Together, this team raised more than $115,000 to support grieving children. That’s enough to fund nearly TWO full Comfort Zone Camp weekends!

A huge thank you to Assured Guaranty for sponsoring our Sydney Marathon team and helping make this experience possible!

And Sydney might be over… but we’re not done yet. Stay tuned for the announcement of our next marathon destination! 🤫🐅🌾

Today, on International Overdose Awareness Day, we remember. 💜

We remember the names, the laughs, the little things that made them who they were. Behind every statistic is a person: a parent, a sibling, a child, a friend, and behind every loss is a family learning to grieve while still holding on to love.

At Comfort Zone Camp, we walk alongside children and teens grieving a loved one lost to overdose. We create space for their pain and their memories, side by side, because healing doesn’t mean forgetting, it means carrying love forward.

Today and every day, we honor the lives lost, not by how they died, but by who they were and how they lived.

We had the best day at camp with Sir Purr (even though we couldn’t trust him with the yarn 🐱🧶)

We played sports, did crafts, ate LOTS of Mt. Olive Pickles, and even taught him how to sizzle!

Our South Carolina camp weekend was packed with laughter, connection, and meaningful moments we will carry with us long after camp.

This Sunday, 11 incredible CZC runners will take on 26.2 miles through Sydney, Australia! 🇦🇺

Our runners are coming from all over the map and each carrying a personal “why” that will fuel them through every mile. From honoring loved ones to supporting grieving children and families, they’re running for something so much bigger than the finish line.
