It’s been a super busy cat month already for us 🤯✨😸 with 45 TNR surgeries for LDF, a feral day we sponsored at Prevent A Litter, some hot summer trapping in Gilpin Court (multiple lactating cats and sick kittens), trailer park trapping, plus nearly 20 spay/neuter of our foster kittens and an adoption event. Whew! Best part of it though was finally trapping a mom cat after 3 years of trying to get her - her feeders in the trailer park repeatedly sabotaged our traps before, even though we rescued her prior kittens 🤬. She does currently have 1 kitten at least under the same trailer now, but now at least she is finally spayed!

We were happy to again help out some pet owners in Northside, RVA with supplies, food, flea/tick preventative and dewormer…it’s a collaborative effort that goes a long way to help a ton of animals, and it was a busy day! We’re helping these poor little girl pups in Playa del Carmen who were found alone on the busy street to get what they need ~ deworming, vaccines, spay. Can you help? For everything they need it will be about $150 US each. And their lives are forever changed! Thank you to our friends at for rescuing them and getting them safe! If any Canadian friends want to adopt on their Playa/Cancun/Tulum vacations soon, let us know! (Sorry they can’t go to the US bc of changed customs rules 🥲) We’d appreciate any help in chipping in for their vetting! 🥰🥰

Remember Nora? She had her second litter of pups out in Dinwiddie, just before our first round of arctic blasts in January … she’s now living a brand new life, adopted by our friend Ronda! We love having her in our circle and will@get to hang out with her often while she re-learns how to be a regular dog!

We were happy to sponsor Chaplin’s neuter last week 🐶🐶 and help out our good friend Claudia who rescued this boy from the Ruta de los Cenotes that runs between Puerto Morelos and Leona Vicario in Quintana Roo, Mexico. ‘La Ruta’ as it is known, is a long jungly road and there are always abandoned and homeless dogs along the way. There are also jaguars in this jungle, so it’s a terrible place to find yourself if you are a dog (or cat) :/ … Chaplin was very thin and needed to fatten up before his surgery, but his life is on the upswing now. ‼️‼️💜

RICHMOND, VA- Someone left this tub of 13 puppies on our porch this morning with this note. If you know who did this, PLEASE get in touch with us! They are well fed and clean, there is no chance that a mama dog ‘wasn’t around.’ No doubt she was out looking for food so she could feed THIRTEEN BABIES.
URGENT 👀👀👀
If you contact us or tell us where these puppies came from, we can go immediately and set a trap for the mama dog. She is no doubt frantically looking for them!
