🍲 WE NEED HOME COOKED MEALS PLEASE 🍲

BIG NEWS! We're moving out of Matchbox Mutual Aid into a new space! The kitchen isn't quite ready yet for us, SO we're requesting the community to bring home cooked vegan and vegetarian meals to share with the community for the next 3-4 Sundays in Monroe Park!

We'll still be distributing groceries as well, but we need all the help we can to give out nourishment to our hungry neighbors.

If you can help, please bring your dish to Monroe Park on Sunday across from the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart.

📦 MOVING BOXES NEEDED PLEASE! 📦
Hey folks! We're planning to move from our current kitchen space in the next few weeks, so we'd love and appreciate any spare moving boxes you can donate to us.
Donations can be dropped off at Matchbox Mutual Aid the next three Sundays from noon to 5! Thank you all so much.

Hey folks-we're back asking for a bit more help for Ms. Darlene.

Ms. Darlene is an elder in RVA who's been a long-time volunteer with the FNB chapter here. She's been dedicated and consistent for years.

Hey folks!- a local artist and community member needs our support.

Many people in the artist community know . (You can spot them at or markets often).

They are a passionate artist who is also the sole caretaker of their disabled mother who was recently hospitalized and has since been released, but she is currently healing up at home.
DeJ won't be able to work as much as they need to care for their parent. It would be great if RVA could help them out a bit in the meantime.
