Aluminum is one of the most recyclable materials on Earth, and recycling it uses approximately 95% less energy than producing new aluminum from raw materials. That means every collected can contributes to conserving resources, reducing waste, and protecting our environment.

Those same cans help generate funds that support Habitat's work of building safe, affordable homes. It's a wonderful example of how environmental responsibility and community compassion can work hand in hand.

Bluegrass Gives brings our community together for one powerful day of giving. Each Giving Tuesday, December 1st, people across Central and Appalachia Kentucky give together to support local nonprofits. In 2025, that generosity added up to $3.14 million! Since 2011, Bluegrass Gives has helped hundreds of local nonprofits raise more than $29 million.
