At the age of 17, after 7 years as an animal ambassador with us, Flo Rida will be retiring from programs at the end of this month. He has met thousands of our community members at events, schools and even at the San Francisco Opera! If you've met Flo, send us a photo!

As he's aging, he is starting to lose muscle, making it hard for him to hold on, so we've made the decision to retire him for his safety. He will be moving to one of our staff's home's into a 6-foot cage where he will continue to get lots of love, sunshine and care.

Flo's last event will be our Halloween party on 10/31. Come by and say hi to one of the best snakes ever!

Our power is out!
PG&E has turned off our power 2 days ago due to high winds/fire risk. This has become the new normal, so it's time to get a backup generator to make sure our animal ambassadors stay safe during these outages. Donate today to help us purchase one and get it set-up before winter!

Marshmallow has been enjoying this heat wave. He loves to sun in the driveway and comes back inside on his own when he's done.

Meet Apricot, our Bavay's gecko. She has a unique way of hiding from predators - or in this case, from the camera.

She is our smallest lizard at here Things That Creep and you can meet her in person at our Halloween party! 🎃
