Fact of the week! On March 16th, volunteers and city workers finished installing a mini-forest in Fonticello Park. The forest was planted using the Miyawaki method, which prioritizes native species and dense planting. These diverse mini-forests can grow up to ten times faster than a monoculture, reducing heat, increasing rainfall retention, and providing habitat to local animals.

Virginians took to the streets from Monroe Park to the Capitol yesterday to show the Trump administration that we, along with hundreds of thousands of others across the nation, are already fighting back against the far-right agenda. Fighting for everyone immigrants, ppl with disabilities, climate refugees, and all oppress ppl must come together. Things may look dark, but we are starting a new chapter together.
