The final arrangements for the Provost Guard "Day at the Races" is now complete and will be held on the evening of Friday, June 21, 2013.
Since I have had so much interest in going, I have decided to take the first 45 people that send me a check for their tickets. First come, first served. The guests do not have to be ACCA or Shriners. Get your money in ASAP as I"m almost half-way to the full capacity mark.
Please notify everyone planning to attend of the following;:
There is a dress code; No Denim of any kind, torn clothing, tank tops, beachwear. I would like to see the Provost Guard participants wear
the red shirts.
The cost is $40.00 pp. Make checks payable to me so I can issue one check to Colonial Downs. (I'm bonded). This also will help me keep an accurate head count. I need to give Colonial Downs the number planning to attend by 06-07-13
The suite will open at 5:00 PM, with the first race going off at 6:00 PM. There will be a registration table in the lobby called Provost Guard.
We will have a race named after us called "ACCA Provost Stakes", and we can send eight (8) people to the winners circle for pictures. (additional cost for pics, but would be nice for the room)
Food will be served until the 7th race, and then the remaining can be taken home if someone wants it.
There will be a cash bar. I selected the call or middle selection.(this is top shelf alcohol) The mixed drinks will be $6.50, wine $5.50, and beer $3.75/$4.75. No outside food or beverage allowed. Ice tea and water is included with the ticket cost.
