We thank God and the host of volunteers who served and smiled in the heat last Saturday at the Back to School Bash at the Grace Center. Thanks to Somebody Cares and individual donors; 200 children received free backpacks and school supplies! Their families also received free medical checkups, thanks to Dr. Prashant and Janice Koshy and their professional medical team who volunteered their services. Several pastors; Gideon and Sam shared the Gospel, while the energetic Connect Youth team gave testimony and had people worshipping God with Christian Hip Hop and kids praise songs! More than that, the Lord touched the hearts of families in need. One mother of three came in carrying a heavy burden, struggling financially and was in tears, but by God’s grace she and her children prayed to receive Jesus. Many volunteers shared testimonies of people receiving prayer, and their hearts being touched. To God be all the glory!
