It was a Richmond Kiwanis Takeover! 💙💛

Yesterday, Kiwins from our local high schools joined us for our monthly Kiwanis meeting, and they truly stole the show! A special shoutout to Joselyn, Lieutenant Governor for the Jade Division, who did an outstanding job leading the meeting with confidence and professionalism.

Afterward, we enjoyed supporting our amazing Kiwins by purchasing their delicious treats. 🍪🧁 It was wonderful to see these young leaders in action and to celebrate the future of service in our community.

We’re so proud of their leadership, dedication, and commitment to making a difference. Keep up the great work!

Honoring Our 2025 Public Safety Heroes ✨🏆✨

On April 17, 2026, the Kiwanis Club of Richmond, CA hosted the Public Safety Awards Dinner to honor the brave men and women who keep our community safe. 👏🏽

It was a privilege to celebrate the dedication and heroism of our local fire and police departments. ❤️💙

-Firefighter of the Year: Captain Kelly Griffin

-Distinguished Service Award: Captain Thomas Phelps

-Unit Citation - Administration / Fire Prevention -
Recipients: Deputy Fire Chief Rico Rincon, Fire Inspector Jacob Brownlow, Fire Inspector Noah Brownlow, and Inspector Alexis Reed.

-Unit Citation - Engine 64 -
Recipients: Captain Thomas Phelps, Engineer Trevor Rogers, and Firefighter Brandon Laroco.

-Unit Citation - Engine 64 -
