We had the best time visiting with some women from Silver Creek Baptist Church tonight! They prayed for us and then spent some time learning about our roles and ministries. Such a kind and intentional group.They really reminded us that the JOY of our Lord is our strength.

I've now been in my new role as Afffirm's executive director for just under 2 months. I am still overwhelmed with gratitude to be trusted with the care of this remarkable ministry. This is one of the great gifts of my life!

From that heart, I ask that you would pray for our faithful staff. May they be refreshed this weekend, knowing that they are positioned by God. Each one. Called. Equipped. Chosen.

Some parts of this work are hard, yet this staff offers joy, peace, and dignity unwavering. They are the heartbeat of everything we do!

We are so thankful for our wonderful staff! Today we recognize Sarah, one of our nurses. She exemplifies Christ-like love in our clinic, as she joyfully and kindly serves our patients and co-workers. Today we gave her the "Above and Beyond Roommate and Wardrobe Support" award, none of which has anything to do with her nursing skills, but everything to do with how she has welcomed our new director 😂. Let's hear it for Sarah! 🎉
