Blackwell's National Night Out was a huge success thanks to Blackwell Bulldogs Rec Center, Historic Blackwell Neighborhood Association, and the Blackwell Community.

Richmond City Public Schools has launched a comprehensive rezoning project in an effort to improve the academic experience for all students. New boundaries are planned to be implemented in time for the 20-21 School Year.

VOCATIONAL EDUCATION SCHOLAR SHIP FUNDS AVAILABLE!

There's a new partnership with the Sikh Association of Central Virginia, which has graciously offered $20,000 in scholarships through its Guru Nanak Scholarships for Vocational Training. The scholarships are open to any Richmond resident who is interested in taking an adult education course at the Richmond Technical Center (RTC) to become an electrician, plumber, automotive technician, or other tradesperson. Click here to start the application, which must be submitted by August 18. Scholarship recipients will be notified prior to the start of the fall semester. An information and application assistance session will be held on Tuesday, July 30, from 6-7pm in the library at RTC.
