Had the best week with some pretty rad teens. We spent the week on UK’s campus attending the 2026 4-H Teen Conference! They took leadership classes, classes in their possible career interest, and even did a morning of community service. I’m proud of how they conducted themselves all week and can’t for our next 4-H Teen Club adventure!

Coach Marvin Anthony Baker is always the first to the range and he wastes no time and starts getting the ranges set up week after week. During last nights practice, we had a couple of our shooters show up a lil earlier than usual so Marvin showed them how to load the trap houses. These young men didn’t hesitate and went to work! Thankful for our coaches who take pride in our 4-H clubs and accomplishments but also thankful for the every day lessons they teach our youth!

Another great Monday of 4-H Shooting Sports!
Last date to join: 6/8
Cost: $20 registration fee
Trap: bring own ammo, $7 past 2 rounds
Age: must be 9 by 1/1/26 to join
Trap requires Hunter’s Ed card (Orange card)
Practice: every Monday night (desides holidays, weather, or when range is closed)
Times: trap starts at 6pm/Achery starts at 6:30
Location: Miller Welch Wildlife Management Area
