Lakeside Swim & Racquet Club Lakeside Swim & Racquet Club is a family-friendly swim club located in the Lakeside area of Henrico County.

The Club is a non-profit social organization dedicated to providing fun, safe summertime activities!

POOL CLOSING TODAY AT 4:00

Our Hurricanes were scheduled for an away meet last night at Swim RVA North. The meet was cancelled due to an unbearable tragedy that has, and will continue to affect our neighboring pool for the near future.

In light of this, LSRC will host this rescheduled meet today, Tuesday 5/16 in their stead. This will require that the pool close to general membership and guests at 4:00pm.

We apologize for any inconvenience but hopefully you will support the Board in what we believe is the right thing to do for our swimmers, community, and JRAC (our swim team governing body).

Youth Tennis Clinics - Summer 2026

We welcome kids ages 6-14 of ALL SKILL LEVELS to join our second Summer 2026 Tennis Clinics beginning in June and going into August.

We offer two separate youth clinics, spanning four weeks each. Kids will learn the basics of forehands, backhands, serving, and volleying with our club coach Dana Burkholder.

Ages 5-10: June 9th 16th 23rd and 30th (Summer 2026)

This FOUR week clinic will meet on TUESDAYS from 9:00-9:45 a.m. Participants will need to bring a tennis racket and water bottle. A parent or responsible adult must stay on premises for duration of clinic.

Ages 11-14: June 9th 16th 23rd and 30th (Summer 2026)
This FOUR-week clinic will meet on TUESDAYS from 9:50-10:50 am. Participants will need to bring a tennis racquet and water bottle.
Days: Tuesday
Time: 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Hello Lakeside Hurricanes,

A quick reminder that we have all practices today, starting at 5.

The pool is now open, which means everyone must use the front, regular, entrance and check in at the Front Desk.

Please allow some extra time when arriving, as the check-in process can sometimes result in a waiting line.

Also, please be patient with our front desk staff.
Some of them may be new to their job and still coming up to speed.

A reminder that we will be opening today at 12:00pm.

The baby pool will be down for the immediate future. The pump that the club just purchased and installed this past offseason has a warranty issue and will be addressed as early as Tuesday. We apologize for any inconvenience.

We will send one last update on tomorrow’s pool status as this first unofficial weekend of summer continues to be a bummer! The pool will likely open, however remember that the activities, food truck, and vendors we had planned have been cancelled.

Thank you all for your understanding today as we delayed our opening this weekend.

We will be opening tomorrow, Sunday, May 24th at 12:00pm.

A message from our Recreation Committee:

Regrettably we have made the tough call to cancel Monday's Memorial Day celebration activities and food truck due to the weather forecast. In making this decision we considered the cancellation policies of our vendors, the current forecast, and other community weather closures. Although we are disappointed, we are focused on looking forward to a fun summer ahead!
