The Tibet Art Foundation and Tibet Art Studio are thrilled to announce a special series of Tibetan folk dances and songs in celebration of His Holiness the 14th's 90th birthday, honoring this year as the Year of Compassion.

The first installment will feature the song and dance "Bashay Dro-dang Yang-yi Choepa," dedicated to the memory of our late TIPA song and dance instructor from Kham Dayab, Jampa Lungtok.

Paid position available for a young Tibetan researcher for a three-month duration, focused on a new Tibetan theatre play.

Nalanda Arts Studio is inviting applications from Young Tibetan researchers to research a new play.
The researcher should be adept at researching Tibetan history, reading Tibetan, English, and preferably Mandarin.

This is a paid position and the work is to start mid July.
The position is for 3 months in the beginning, with the potential for an extension later during the process of the play.

The play will premiere in Tibetan in 2026 in India and tour internationally in 2027

The research will be done remotely. Researchers with access to Libraries that have Tibetan books and archives will be preferred.

Mother Earth deserves our utmost respect and care. It is truly heartbreaking to witness the devastation caused by natural disasters. On the same day, we were deeply saddened by the tragic news of the earthquake in the Dingri area of West Tibet and the wildfire storms in Southern California. Our heartfelt condolences go out to those who have experienced loss, and we offer prayers for healing and comfort during this challenging time.

We invite global artists to show their solidarity with the victims by sharing words of condolence, performing related songs, reading poems, or expressing themselves through any other art form.

I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to our family, friends, and supporters for making our inauguration event an incredible success.
