Come for the genealogy and family history information and learn about land grants, hear author Randell Jones speak and visit the original fort site and hear archeologist Nancy O’Malley! A full day with lunch available at concession tent, cabins open and interpreters ready with interesting information. Fort Boonesborough Foundation will have T -shirts, books and 250th items for sale AND have the opportunity to enter the Rifle And Axe raffles. Open 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Admission: Adults $8, Children 6-12 $5.00 and Children 5 and under free.

We still have availability for our February 14th Fireside Chat featuring Steve Caudill doing a first person presentation as Daniel Boone. Steve is a lifelong historian, 18th Century reenactor and an expert on the life of Daniel Boone.

This event takes place in the Fort Blockhouses with snacks and refreshments starting at 6:00pm and then the presentation starts at 7:00pm. Admission is $12.00 per person and reservations are required. Please call the park at 859-527-3131 and select the option for the business office. If no answer please leave your name and number and we will return your call as soon as possible.

Returning this February to the fort at Fort Boonesborough State Park, our annual series of Fireside Chats. These are discussions or first person presentations of 18th Century life in pioneer Kentucky.

February 7th:
Noted author and historian Randell Jones will discuss Daniel Boone and his life during the American Revolution.

February 14th:
Reenactor Steve Caudill will be doing a first person presentation of the life of Daniel Boone.

February 21st:
Musician Jon Hagee will be playing 18th Century period music and discussing pioneer life.

February 28th:
First person presenter Carol Jarboe will be doing the Life of Maggie Delaney, indentured servant.

These chats take place in the replica of Fort Boonesborough. Snacks and refreshments are served from 6:00-7:00pm in the Tavern Blockhouse. The presentations start at 7:00pm in the Orientation Blockhouse. Admission is $12 per person and reservations are required. Reservations can be made by calling 859-527-3131 and selecting the option for the Business Office. If no answer please leave a message with your name and phone number.

September is here and mark your calendar for the 20th and 21st and make plans to visit Fort Boonesborough State Park and the re-enactment of the 1778 Siege. All parking on Hwy 388 and free shuttle provided to the Fort, admission Adults:$8.00, Children 6-12 $5.00, 5 and under free. Gates open at 9 a.m., come early and enjoy the cabins, visit the interpreters, see the movie, visit the camps and traders, have lunch , and enjoy the battle at 2 p.m. See you there!!

We are getting ready for Siege Weekend at Fort Boonesborough State Park, scheduled September 20-21st!!! The concessions menu is set, script refreshed, busses scheduled, gift shop is stocked,
we are getting ready for living history camps, vendors, fort interpreters and much more. Looking forward to a great weekend! Mark your calendars and join us. Fort opens 9-4, battle 2 p.m. each day. All parking on Hwy. 388 with free shuttle to the Fort. General admission applies: Adults $8, Children 6-12 $5 , 5 and under free.
