What a year for Virginia squash!

As the 2025-26 season closes, here's what our community pulled off:

**Richmond City League** -- Our biggest season yet. 160+ players, 500+ matches, 16 teams across the Boast and Rail divisions. Champions: the ACAC Aces. Congrats to every team that battled.

**Fall Classic 2025** -- 77 players at CCV. Open down to Junior Novice and 65+. Our largest field ever.

**Virginia State Open 2026** -- We took it on the road to Charlottesville for the first time. 50 players, world-class courts at McArthur Squash Center, Saturday night at Three Notched Brewery. A hit.

**Doubles League** -- 57 players. Both finals went five. Champions: the Boast Beasts (Handicap) and All the Right Angles (Open).

**Amanda Sobhy** -- The #2 US Women's Pro came to Richmond in March for lessons and a rooftop social. Surreal.

**SquashRocks** -- Still changing young lives at Anna Julia Cooper School through squash, mentoring, and meals.

**New leadership** -- Welcome to incoming president Liam Duffy and the refreshed board. Huge thanks to Eddie O'Leary for his years at the helm.

To every player, captain, volunteer, and supporter: thank you. 2026-27 is going to be even bigger.

Squash on.
