The main purpose of this page

is to help us find homes for dogs that we rescue. We started the rescue with a focus on toy poodles but we find ourselves with other dogs that simply need to be rescued and we just can resist a dog in need. We are only about the dogs and finding them the life God intended for them to have. We are always looking for volunteers and have needs in fostering, helping with administration and fund raising and applications. We would also like to develop a website if anyone has skills in web development and would be interested in helping, please message me. Rescue is our mission. We want to change the world in our own way, one dog at a time.

Say hello to W***y! 🍭

W***y is a toy poodle mix around 5–7 years old and just 5.5 lbs. He was seized by Henrico Animal Control when his owner was no longer able to properly care for him or another dog in the home.

This tiny guy is quiet, gentle, and happiest curled up in a soft bed in a calm environment. W***y has a sweet, easygoing nature and enjoys simply being near his people while taking in the world around him. He’s the kind of little companion that doesn’t ask for much — just kindness, comfort, and a peaceful place to call home.

W***y gets along well with other dogs and was indifferent to the cat at the vet office. He would love a patient family that appreciates the quieter, softer souls and will give him the stability and love he deserves.

Hazel is a 5-year-old Cockapoo weighing around 26 lbs. She was owner surrendered when her family moved and was unable to take her along.

Hazel is a sweet and timid girl that takes comfort in a calm environment and enjoys simply relaxing beside her people. She loves lounging on the sofa, hanging out with you, and being part of the daily routine. She also enjoys exploring the yard and taking in all the sights and smells around her.

She does great with other dogs and enjoys their company. Hazel is currently working on her leash walking skills and continues to gain confidence as she settles into new situations.

Hazel is looking for a patient, loving home where she can continue to blossom and enjoy the simple things in life — cozy naps, a safe yard to explore, and people to love her forever.

Jilly is a 2-year-old Bichon/Shih Tzu mix that was surrendered after she was no longer needed for a breeding program. Now this sweet little girl is ready to leave that life behind and start the next chapter with a family of her very own.

Jilly is an incredibly sweet girl that enjoys attention and being close to her people. Her gentle expressions will instantly melts your heart. She is petite at just under 10lbs but she has 10-fold love to give and is happiest when she feels safe, loved, and included.

Jilly is ready for a forever home where she can finally just be a cherished family pet — spoiled with soft beds, kindness, companionship, and all the love she deserves. She will require another friendly dog in the home.

Caleb Bane is a Labradoodle born 01/26/25 and weighs around 50 lbs. He was owner surrendered when his family was no longer able to keep him.

Caleb is a friendly, happy guy that truly enjoys being around his people. He loves attention, playtime, and being included in whatever is going on around him. He has a playful personality and enjoys running around the yard, exploring, and soaking up all the fun life has to offer.

He does great with other dogs and would love a home with another playful canine companion, as he is very social and enjoys having a buddy around. Caleb was curious about the cats at the vet office, but remained respectful with them.

He is crate trained and doing well with his house training. Caleb is a sweet, outgoing dog looking for an active home ready to give him plenty of love, playtime, and companionship.
