We are so grateful to this young Scout for choosing Rosenberg-Richmond Helping Hands as the beneficiary of his Eagle Scout service project and for donating more than 25 backpacks filled with school supplies to help local students. ❤️‍🔥

Earning the rank of Eagle Scout takes dedication and hard work, but choosing to use that journey to serve others makes the accomplishment even more meaningful. These backpacks will help students begin their school year with some of the tools they need to learn, grow, and succeed.

We are incredibly proud to be part of this project and thankful for the thoughtfulness behind every backpack donated.

We could use a few more helping hands. 🤲

At Rosenberg-Richmond Helping Hands, so much of what we accomplish is possible because of people who are willing to give their time to serve others. Right now, we’re looking for volunteers to help us continue caring for the families and individuals who come through our doors.

🥫 Food Pantry: 5–10 volunteers
👕 Clothing Room: 5 volunteers
🤝 Client Interviewers: We are also looking for volunteers interested in becoming interviewers. You can choose the date that works best for you!

Whether you can give your time once or become a regular volunteer, your time matters. Every box organized, every item placed into a client’s hands, and every person welcomed with kindness helps us serve our community with dignity and compassion.

We know everyone’s time is valuable, which makes every hour someone chooses to give even more meaningful to us. 🙏

🎒✏️ Back to school is here!

As students across our community head back to the classroom today, we’re thinking about all the excitement, nerves, new beginnings, and possibilities that come with a new school year.

Rosenberg-Richmond Helping Hands was honored to help local students get ready by providing more than 500 backpacks, over 400 coats, and more than 600 pairs of shoes to children in our community. 💙

To every student heading back to school today: we’re cheering you on! 📚✨

May this school year be filled with new friendships, exciting discoveries, big accomplishments, and plenty of reasons to be proud of yourselves. Believe in yourself, work hard, be kind, and never be afraid to dream big.

Our latest Food Distribution was filled with helping hands, caring hearts, and an incredible sense of community. Today, we were blessed to serve 250 clients, including 53 new clients who came to us for the first time.

A very special thank you to Grand Parkway Baptist Church ✝️ for bringing an amazing group of volunteers to serve alongside us, and to the Richmond Police Department 👮‍♀️ for joining us for the first time. Having you there meant so much to our team and to the people we serve.

We also want to recognize our RRHH staff and our regular volunteers who continue to show up, work tirelessly, and give their time and energy month after month. You are the heart behind so much of what we are able to accomplish.

To every person who volunteered, helped organize, packed food, greeted a client, carried a box, or simply offered a smile. Thank you! Your kindness reaches much farther than you may ever realize.

We are incredibly grateful for every helping hand that made today possible.

At Rosenberg-Richmond Helping Hands, every role is an opportunity to serve our community with compassion, dignity, and hope. We’re currently looking for caring, dependable individuals to join our team in two important positions:

🥫 Pantry Assistant (Part-Time) – Help organize and distribute food, assist clients, manage pantry inventory, and support the daily operations that keep our food assistance program running smoothly.

🚚 Box Truck Driver (CDL preferred, but not required) – Help pick up and deliver donations, transport essential supplies, and play a vital role in getting resources to the families who need them most.
