Camp Wiyaka is a YMCA residential summer camp located on the shore of Sandy Pond in the hills of Richmond, NH. Serving a maximum of 72 campers per week we have the unique opportunity to create a small community atmosphere, a place where both campers and staff can really get to know everyone. Campers and counselors sleep in bunk beds sheltered by canvas tents on wooden platforms. Meals are served f

Just a friendly reminder that Tie-Dye Day is this Thursday! Be sure to send your camper with a white or light colored item to tie-dye, such as a T-shirt, socks, or a bandana. We can’t wait to see everyone’s colorful creations!

This is a friendly reminder that your camper has the option to sign up for Tie-Dye on Thursday, they will need to bring an item from home to dye!

They are welcome to bring almost anything they'd like to tie-dye, such as:
A t-shirt
Socks
A towel
A pillowcase
Or another light-colored cotton item

Please make sure the item is labeled with your camper's name and sent with them to camp Thursday morning.

We can't wait to see all of the creative designs our campers come up with!

🌲 Meet Your Camp Director: Victoria

Hi, Camp Wiyaka families! I'm so excited to be returning to the place that helped shape so many of my favorite childhood memories.

I spent 10 incredible summers at Camp Wiyaka as both a camper and a counselor, and those years are filled with memories I'll never forget—Mrs. Bumble, The Mud Hike, and proudly working my way from a Red Tag swimmer to Blue Tag to name a few! Those moments helped make Camp Wiyaka such a special place to me as a child and my biggest goal is to make sure every camper experiences that same magic.

Outside of camp, I teach Kindergarten and coach my local Girls on the Run team. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a concentration in Child Development and am pursuing my Master's degree in Early Education.

I'm so excited to meet everyone, create amazing memories together, and make this the best Camp Wiyaka summer. See you at camp! ☀️💚
