The Virginia Animal Fighting Taskforce (VAFTF) is a non-profit animal welfare organization based out of Richmond, Virginia. The organization was founded in 2003 and incorporated in 2007. The Organization's consists of professionals from animal control, law enforcement, and attorney's at law from all over the state of Virginia, as well as someone from a state veterinary's office. The organization h

as been behind the scenes in over fifty animal fighting investigations, including the undertaking of NFL star Michael Vick's Badd Newz Kennels in 2008, and most recently the "Big Blue" cockfighting pit in McDowell, Kentucky- the largest cockfighting pit bust in Kentucky and Virginia.
