The Virginia Animal Fighting Taskforce (VAFTF) is a non-profit animal welfare organization based out of Richmond, Virginia. The organization was founded in 2003 and incorporated in 2007. The Organization's consists of professionals from animal control, law enforcement, and attorney's at law from all over the state of Virginia, as well as someone from a state veterinary's office. The organization h

as been behind the scenes in over fifty animal fighting investigations, including the undertaking of NFL star Michael Vick's Badd Newz Kennels in 2008, and most recently the "Big Blue" cockfighting pit in McDowell, Kentucky- the largest cockfighting pit bust in Kentucky and Virginia. Yesterday turned out to be a beautiful day for a car show! 🌞 We couldn't have more pleased.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who showed up, purchased raffle tickets, registered their vehicles, and hung out with us all day! To say that there were a lot of other events to choose from is an understatement.

Thank you to Purvis Ford of Fredericksburg for sponsoring us, once again, this year, and thank you to Bass Pro Shops in Ashland for hosting us.

The Envigo case is CLOSED!

What a huge win for the animals. This case took a huge toll on everyone involved, both human and animal. The Virginia Animal Fighting Task Force is proud to have taken on such a large role and thankful for a positive outcome.

Such a feat wouldn't have been possible without the men and women who boot their boots on the ground and worked tirelessly, now would it have been possible without the help of the community.

Thank you to everyone who sacrificed their bodies and minds. Thank you to everyone who fostered or adopted animals. Thank you to everyone who donated money, shared a post, or mentioned the Task Force to raise awareness. We truly could not have done this without you. 🙌👏🤘🐶
