​Please be aware that there is a phishing/scam email currently circulating that appears to come from the 23rd Street Merchants Association (or "23rd St Association").
​The email uses the event platform Partiful and invites recipients to "Join us in celebrating a special moment" for a dinner scheduled on Sunday, June 14th, 2026, at 6:00pm ET.
​🛑 This is a SCAM.
​The 23rd Street Merchants Association did NOT send this invitation, and there is no such event being hosted by the association.
​What the invite looks like:
​As seen in the image 1000069607.jpg, the fake invitation features:
​A "Partiful" logo at the top.
​The header: "Hey 23rd invited you to Join us in celebrating a special moment".
​An illustration of monarch butterflies, a caterpillar, and flowers with the word "Dinner".
​The host listed at the bottom as "Hosted by 23rd St Association".
​What you should do:
​DO NOT click any links within the email or the Partiful invite.
​DO NOT RSVP or provide any personal, business, or financial information.
​DELETE the email immediately.
​Please share this warning with other local business owners, neighbors, and members of the community to ensure no one falls victim to this scam. Stay safe!

Tonight, the 23rd Street Merchants Association wants to send a massive, city-wide shoutout and congratulations to all of the outstanding officers, detectives, dispatchers, and professional staff members honored at the Richmond Police Department's 2026 Exceptional Service Awards Ceremony!

​Looking at this room full of dedicated individuals, we are reminded of the immense teamwork, sacrifice, and bravery it takes to protect and serve Richmond every single day.
