Applications are now open for the 2022 Scientists in Parks (SIP) internship program! 🎉
There are over 100 open positions in parks across the country that work on projects spanning a variety of topics, including air quality, climate change, geology, hydrology, night skies, paleontology, communication, outreach, and human dimensions of natural resources. Some projects that SIP interns could work on include collecting soundscape data at Grand Canyon National Park; researching tiger beetles at Assateague Island National Seashore; mapping caves at Jewel Cave National Monument; documenting fossil sites at Badlands National Park; creating educational content about night skies at Zion National Park; and collecting/organizing invasive vegetation data at yours truly (Yellowstone!).
