Artwork by American artist Faith Ringgold, who is best known for her narrative quilt paintings made from fabric.
These works draw inspiration from the traditional quilting heritage, where African American women stitched together scraps of fabric to create quilts that carried stories, memory, and cultural identity.

30 years. Not just of festivals, but of holding space.
For the people who’ve been here.
For the stories that shaped us.
For the voices still rising.

As we step into February, we honor not just where we've been, but who has carried us here. Elders, artists, cooks, scholars, stewards, and truth-tellers. Some with microphones. Some with cast iron. Some with quiet, steady hands.

This season isn’t just about looking back. It’s about what we’re still building.
And we’re doing it together.
