Love Addicts Anonymous Kentucky is meeting every Friday at 6 PM at the Dry Dock.

Sometimes the hardest patterns to recognize are the ones we’ve mistaken for love. LAA offers a place to look honestly at our relationships, our attachments, and the ways we may lose ourselves trying to hold on to another person.

This is a recovery space for anyone who wants healthier relationships with others and with themselves. You don’t have to have it all figured out, and you don’t have to know for certain that LAA is for you. You’re welcome to come, listen, and see if something speaks to you.

We have some great news to share! Thanks to the generosity of our donors, members, friends, and community supporters, we have raised enough money to complete our door project, including the brickwork needed for the installation.

The new doors have officially been ordered and will be installed soon!

We want to give a special thank you to the Kentucky Colonels Good Works Program for awarding the Dry Dock a grant toward this project. Their support gave us a strong foundation to build on, and our community stepped up to help us raise the remaining funds needed to complete the work.

We are so grateful to every person who donated, shared our posts, encouraged us, or helped make this happen in any way. When we asked for help, our community showed up.

The Dry Dock has been a place of recovery, connection, fellowship, and hope for a lot of people over the years. Seeing so many people step up to help take care of this place reminds us how much the Dry Dock means to this community and how much this community means to us.

Thank you for believing in what we do. Thank you for supporting this space. And most of all, thank you for helping us continue to keep the doors open for the next person who needs a place to walk through them.

We couldn’t have done this without you. 💙

We’re excited to welcome a new women’s AA meeting to The Dry Dock: Sisters in Sunlight. ☀️

Starting this Tuesday, August 18 at 6:30 PM.

There’s something powerful about women having a space of their own to be honest, to learn from one another, and to grow stronger in recovery together.

Whether you’re new to recovery or have been walking this path for years, there’s a seat for you here. Come as you are, share what you can, and find strength in the experience, hope, and connection of other women.

What a night! Our Member & Partner Appreciation Event was such a great time, and the energy in the room was incredible. Good food, great music, lots of laughter, dancing, fellowship, and a room full of people who care about recovery and about each other.

Thank you to everyone who came out and celebrated with us. To our members, community partners, officers, volunteers, and supporters, thank you for the time, work, and heart you give to the Dry Dock throughout the year. Tonight was for you.

A special thank you to Enrich for generously providing the venue, Giovanni’s for feeding us, DJ Todd Chaney, the Secretary of Funk, for keeping the music going and the dance floor moving, and KORE for its continued support of recovery in our community.

It was pretty special to look around that room tonight and see so many different people and organizations brought together by recovery.

This Friday, we're taking time to celebrate the people who make The Dry Dock what it is.

Our officers, members, partners, supporters, and everyone who walks through our doors are the reason this community continues to grow and help people every day. This event is our way of saying thank you and celebrating all of you.

If you've been part of The Dry Dock in any way, we hope you'll come out and spend the evening with us. It's always a fun time, a chance to connect with friends old and new, and a reminder that recovery is something we build together.
