We run Richmond. Strava: Richmond Road Runners
IG: We Run Richmond! We support running in the metro Richmond area.

We do this by sponsoring races, helping other groups put on races, coaching training teams, supporting group runs, and providing academic scholarships. The RRRC is a non-profit organization affiliated with the Road Runners Club of America. The club sponsors over 17 races throughout the year with distances ranging from 2 to 20 miles. As a service to the community, the club contracts to provide race

services. These services range from renting equipment to full-computerized race timing. The club provides services for over 30 events during the year. Yearly membership in RRRC is $15 for individuals, $20 for families and $5 for students. https://runsignup.com/Club/VA/Richmond/RichmondRoadRunnersClub. Membership includes a subscription in PDF format to our bimonthly club newsletter, "Miles and Minutes" in addition to discounts to club races and many stores across the Richmond area.

Cul-de-Sac Week One Update:

We recognize that folks may have been looking at the forecasts, so we're confirming that the in-person race is still on for tonight! Based on the weather information available when we're sending this message, it appears that any thunderstorms will start well after the race has finished.

That being said, we ask each runner to make their own personal decision about running in-person. If anybody is feeling unsure about the weather, they can switch to virtual for tonight (see email).

If runners switch to virtual for this week, they can still run in-person for weeks 2 and 3.

Any virtual runners will remain eligible for the swag items as long as they record their virtual run. (As a reminder, runners must complete all three races to receive the swag).

We remain in dire need of volunteers for all three races - if you can spare a couple of hours on an upcoming Monday, please sign up to volunteer here.

Of course, we will continue monitoring the weather throughout the afternoon and if expected conditions change, we will send further updates. Otherwise, we look forward to welcoming runners for packet pickup starting at 5:45 and the race kicks off at 7!
