It is increasingly appearing that Ekiti State has not done enough in the rescue efforts for the Eda Oniyo kidnapping victims. The silence and the prolonged captivity of these innocent people are troubling and unacceptable. At a time when families are in anguish, citizens expect visible action, clear communication, and decisive leadership. History will ultimately judge the response of those entrusted with the responsibility of protecting lives and property.
