TCOYO Hockey Club This page is designed for all parents, players, coaches and affiliates of TCOYO Hockey.

TCOYO field hockey was created to provide Virginia with a field hockey experience that gives players an opportunity to play hockey from junior levels through elite competition, including National level showcases. We want to ensure that TCOYO field hockey achieves consistent success, a strong positive public profile, and continuing player and spectator support at all levels.

We are so sad to hear of the passing of Coach Joe. He has been a pillar in the field hockey community for a time and impacted many players, coaches, and families. He will be greatly missed.

Thoughts and prayers to his family 🫶🏽

💙 It is with great sadness that Baystars FC learned of the untimely passing of Joe Dougherty.

While Joe’s impact was made on the field hockey pitch rather than the soccer field, he was an integral part of our local sports community and touched the lives of countless athletes, families, coaches, and supporters through his dedication, leadership, and love of youth sports.

The bonds that connect our sports community extend far beyond any one game, and today we mourn alongside all those who knew and loved him.

Our thoughts, prayers, and deepest condolences are with the Dougherty family, his friends, former players, and the entire field hockey community during this difficult time.
