UNCF, the country's largest and most effective minority education organization, enables students to get the college education they need and that we as a nation need them to have. At a time when college is more important, and more expensive than ever, UNCF each year enables more than 60,000 students to attend college, and more than 8,000 to receive degrees by awarding more than 10,000 scholarships

and internships yearly, providing operating funds for its 37 member historically black colleges and universities (HBCU's), and serving as a national advocate for the importance of minority education and college readiness.

Today our videographer interviewed one of our honorees, Mr. Bruce Thompson, President & CEO of Gold Key l PHR Hotels and Resorts. We look forward to presenting Mr. Thompson with the Masked Award on Saturday March 31, 2018. The Cavalier Hotel is one of Mr. Thompson's properties, as well as the Hilton Norfolk The MAIN, where the ball is being held.
