This fall, we’re doing something special— Lead from Here: Character in Action! Girls will explore six character elements over the course of the fall: confidence, critical thinking, emotional intelligence, kindness, respect, and self-advocacy.

This work is about helping girls strengthen the inner compass they need to navigate school, friendships, and life—and to show up as the strong, smart, bold leaders they are.

Emotional wellness starts with understanding, expressing, and caring for ourselves. ❤️ Through the Girls Inc. Experience, girls build the confidence to recognize their emotions, navigate challenges, and prioritize their well-being. Because taking care of yourself is an important part of growing up strong, smart, and bold.

This grant was incredible for us and helped us provide much needed upgrades like technology upgrades, carpeting, sound dampening, and a washer and dryer!

Thanks to unrestricted giving, a $50,000 grant from our 2025 Grant Cycle II helped Girls Inc. of Wayne County make facility upgrades that enhance safety, technology, and usability across their spaces, creating an even better environment for girls in our community to learn, grow, and thrive.
